Also it is very important that teams look at the playoff
schedules carefully as losing a game does not always
mean you do not have another game on Sunday.
Also
to note: some confusion on Goal Differential on the tie
breakers. When you look at the standings graphically it has
goals for and goals against. These are not the actual goals for
and goals against that are used to determine goal differential.
Numbers listed are the actual max number of goals for and
against for these rules only.
Example:
If a team wins 10-8, 7-4, 3-2, would show on screen 13 goals
for 11 against. For goal differential according to our rules
however its +6 (2 for the first game, 3 for the second, and 1
for the third)
And also keep in mind that in
3-way ties, after one team is eliminated it reverts back to the
top of the tie-breakers which is head to head.
